Responsible for the oversight of curriculum and 3 teachers providing instructions to 9th -12th grade instruction. Conduct regular Department meetings; teacher observations and debriefings and provide guidance to enhance teacher performance. Coordinate the assignment and oversight of seminarians assigned as teaching assistants to Religion Department Teachers. Attend Heads of Department meetings to advise school Administration of Religion Department operations; give input to school wide policies/practices/programs; obtain directives and needed deliverables from Administration for Departmental attention. Facilitate Department reports, meeting agendas, Department goals and data collection. Design and carryout 11th grade Social Justice Course instruction including real-time service opportunities in which students participate; collaboration with charitable and advocacy organizations; contact with students and parents on student progress; managing the grading and preparation of documents for report cards.
