QC Lab Manager / Analytical Incoming Inspection• Responsible for the overall operation of the Analytical Incoming Inspection Lab which may include testing of raw, in-process, and packaging materials, final lens inspection, environmental monitoring, bioburden testing, lens inspection certification, instrument/method qualification and MDLIMS involved in the production of contact lenses.• Provides work direction and supervision for direct reports to ensure testing, projects, investigations, etc. are completed on time and accurately to ensure lab/site goals/ targets are met.

• Coordinates all manufacturing activities to ensure goals are accomplished and communication occurs within the shift and across all functions that interact with the shift.• Responsible for the control of all material flows, manufacturing operations, and the supervision of a team consisting of contracted and full-time employees.• Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with production operations.• Provides leadership to the team in all elements of production including managing issues that are escalated from the team.• Leads continuous improvement recommendations and/or solutions to support overall operational efficiency.• Leads and/or provides support on special projects.• Provides coaching to associates on day-to-day activities and performance.• Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Provides support to a team in counting physical inventory for multiple companies• Generates department audit reports and reconciles computer data with physical counts taken
