Administrative Assistant/Acting Supervisor
Nine years of work experience as an Administrative Assistant in a large organization. Some responsibilites included: processing 100+ employee’s payroll utilizing the Kronos system, updating/maintaining policy and procedures using Policy Tech, coding and approving invoices through Image View, ordering supplies and maintaining inventory and budget, contacting vendors for inquiries on new products, back/rush orders and billing issues, handling in and outgoing mail, scheduling and attending various types of meetings and typing minutes, assisting in investigation and resolution of patient complaints/grievances, filing and maintaining all employee and state documents, maintaining all MSDS through MSDSpro, creating and updating weekly, monthly and yearly reports, employee engagement included; reporting accident and worker’s comp. incidents through company procedure, scheduling/documenting/filing meetings, trainings, education, certifications and disciplines, updated job duties, updated communication board, making schedules and preparing events. Also, answering phones and acting as a receptionist in addition to providing extensive organizational and administrative support. I am very self-sufficient and work independently, as well as taking the initiative to help others. Also, I have taken the initiative to learn as much as possible about the company I work for in order to become a valuable information resource. Among my particular strengths are my organizational and planning skills. I have developed a number of processes to manage my many work tasks and make sure I meet the demands of a fast-paced work environment. I have a good working knowledge of a number of computer applications including MS Office Suite. My strong communication skills and an outgoing, energetic personality ensure first-rate customer service to both clients and colleagues. I thoroughly enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people and take pride in being an Administrative Assistant.
