A Canton, Ohio native, Charlene Bryant previously resided in Nashville, Tennessee, where she enrolled at Belmont University. Throughout her time at Belmont, she garnered internships with Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and Warner Music Group. Upon graduating, Charlene managed a live music venue. After two years of increased record attendance at the venue, she pivoted and began working on the record label side of the business. Her first role was on the Production/Distribution team at Universal Music Group. Subsequently, she went on to join the Commercial Partnerships team at Sony Music Entertainment, where she managed the relationships with various digital service providers (music streaming companies). Charlene holds a Business Administration degree in Music Business from Belmont University. She also served as the Vice President of W.M.B.A. (Women’s Music Business Association) in 2019, was a member of S.O.L.I.D. (Society Of Leaders In Development), and a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame Troubadour Advisory Council. She was honored with the Nashville Business Journal’s Women in Music City Award, two years in a row, in 2018 and 2019. Charlene was named to Billboard’s Hip-Hop and R&B Power Player List in 2020 and 2021. Charlene's educational background and years of experience working for the largest record labels, helped her establish a great understanding of both the needs of artists and the ever-changing landscape of the industry. In 2018 she decided to launch her own management company, Riveter Management, where she has worked with artists such as Trippie Redd. In an industry that can be transactional and fast-paced, Charlene brings balance with her business acumen, results-oriented strategies, and value for authentic industry relationships.
