Charlenne Kayla Roeslie is a Jakarta-based journalist, writer and project officer.Charlenne is also a researcher, scriptwriter, and host for Kroco Studio, a digital publication platform for democracy on the internet. She writes scripts and hosts video essays on contemporary politics in Indonesia.In 2021, Charlenne interned as a reporter at Project Multatuli, a public journalism initiative based in Jakarta. Besides that, she also assisted the audience development director in holding FGDs for Project Multatuli's membership program.After the internship, she continued as a freelance project officer there and assisted several programs focused on female journalists' empowerment and building journalists' capacities in reporting on gender-based violence.Before that, she was a student journalist and editor for ULTIMAGZ, an independent media based in Universitas Multimedia Nusantara. In both rules, she wrote stories on social issues, mainly related to gender-based violence.
