Manage day-to-day operations including desktop support, email operations and office automation for a dynamic community based organization.For over a decade, Brooklyn Greenway Initiative (BGI) has acted as the catalyst for the development, establishment and long-term stewardship of the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway, a 26-mile protected and landscaped route for pedestrians and cyclists that, when completed in 2021, will connect Brooklyn’s storied and iconic waterfront, parks and open space, commercial and cultural corridors, and new tech and innovation hubs for 2.65 million Brooklyn residents, over 1.1 million employees in Brooklyn, and 15 million annual visitors from across the City and around the world.

Managed workstation infrastructure at the newsroom and corporate level through Analyst, Manager, and Senior Engineering roles.▪ Evaluated and conducted the proof-of-concept, as well as rolled out the LastPass password management system to increase end user and enterprise security.▪ Implemented, maintained, and executed an innovative internal web site to allow self-service installation and printer updates using PrinterLogic.▪ Protected all company workstation assets from malware attacks by centralized distribution of patches with Symantec Management Platform (Altiris), JAMF (Casper) and anti-malware software with Symantec Endpoint Protection.▪ Created and maintained software installation portals for Mac and Windows workstations using JAMF and a home grown VBScript / Altiris solution.▪ Managed encryption of all workstation assets with Windows PGP Whole Disk Encryption, BitLocker and Mac Filevault.▪ Rolled out a system to allow the help desk to provide remote control support with Bomgar.▪ Developed a HTA and VBScript system to allow Windows users to temporarily assume administrative control of their machines.▪ Deployed Windows Firewall to a mixed environment of domain joined and unjoined machines.
