I am an Economics student with a strong academic track record, including four A Levels (A* Mathematics, A* Further Mathematics, A Economics and B History). I am fascinated by how consumer purchasing patterns change in response to both economic conditions and the behavioural factors, as well as the stimulants used by economic agents to influence these. I am keen to apply my knowledge of economic concepts and data modelling techniques within an organisation to influence real business situations and gain wider experience.I am driven by challenge and the opportunity to gain new experiences, recently teaching myself how to play bass guitar and ukulele and taking the opportunity to study in China as part of my GCSE. I love outdoor pursuits including climbing and hiking. I have bronze and silver D of E awards and am currently working towards gold and completed fundraising hikes for a local hospice. I particularly thrive while working in a team, whether building and racing ‘green power’ car at school, being part of the scouting movement (ages 5-18) or playing for my community football team (for 10 years). I also value my community and being able to ‘put something back’, becoming a young leader for scouts, supporting younger players to develop goalie skills and volunteering at the local Parkrun. I enjoy connecting with people and am a member of the climbing club at university. I also play lots of sports and go to the gym regularly, as well as enjoying cooking and playing instruments which allows me to stay healthy, happy, and relaxed.
