Genuine and adaptive leadership has always been my passion. As an infantryman in the United States Army, I have developed and matured over twelve years of small unit leadership while assuming assignments such as fire team leader, rifle squad leader, reconnaissance team leader, future soldier manager, and recruiter. I have leadership experience in various environments such as extreme heat, extreme cold, and three combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. My leadership abilities and potential has lead me to be:-recognized publicly by senior organizational leader for being one of three crews to qualify during Stryker Gunnery, resulting in Army Achievement Medal-selected above peers to assume duties and responsibilities as senior platoon leadership, including two months under combat conditions-selected over 26 peers to serve as reconnaissance team leader in reconnaissance platoon, the premiere elite infantry platoon in a battalion-constantly sought by superiors due to superb understanding of tactics to develop and train Soldiers on infantry tactics and marksmanship, writing standard operating procedure for higher headquarters-during force on force training, led reconnaissance and security team to single-handedly apprehend enemy vehicle during night operations-selected over 10 recruiters to serve as future soldier manager in recruiting environmentMy passion is to provide genuine leadership to those who operate in stressful and dynamic tactical environments.
