I am seeking a job in the hospitality field as a guest agent where I may utilize my interpersonal, leadership and management skills, to facilitate the productivity of the hotel establishment.Currently, I graduated Stony Brook University where I am studying to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies, with a concentration in Business, History and Sociology, and a Minor in Business Management. I am also a concierge at the Crowne Plaza by John F. Kennedy Airport. From these experiences, I am able to monitor and anticipate guests’ needs. I am also skilled in arranging transportation and upcoming events for guests. I work collaboratively with the front desk staff to assist visitants to their rooms.Along with my passion for hospitality management, I am also very interested in meteorology. At Stony Brook University, I created the idea to implement the course-JRN 391Weathercasting, where meteorology students may now broadcast the weather forecast on www.stonybrook.newsbreak.tv (under supervision of Professor Sanders).These experiences have shaped my aptitude for leadership. My management skills at school transfer to my strong work ethic in the field of business. As for my jobs at the Crowne Plaza and Fair Field Inn, I have received several letters from guests—detailing how much I positively impacted their stay to make it enjoyable. My understanding on the significance of great customer service helps increase business revenue.
