• I review all coating procedures as tailored to each project.• I supervise, monitor and control all inspection activities (such as surface preparation, blasting and painting, abrasive checks, surface profile checks, coating, atmospheric condition checks holiday test, adhesion test.• I review and verify with clients that all works have been completed successfully and I ensure proper reports/records as per client specifications and fabrication procedures.• I ensure adequate controls and evaluations of all Quality Control activities during the blasting/painting activities• I make certain that control calibration interval, calibration status and in-house calibration of equipment and final inspections of coating prior shipment.• I review and compile all field blasting and painting record for Manufacturing Data Report (MDR) or Project Documentation for turn over document to clients.• Quoting and estimating on painting and blasting projects with regards to labour, cost and amount of raw materials.

  Preparing and reviewing project coating specification, procedures, ITPs and daily reports. Conducting regular toolbox meetings. Responsible for coordinating blasting and painting activities, monitoring performance of Blaster and Painter at site. Ensuring the correct paint drum is being used - manufacture, paint name, batch number, batch certificate, expiry date etc. Making sure the quality of workmanship is in accordance with specifications. In charge of inspecting coating application and wet film thickness, as well as verifying after coating is the required dry film thickness. Monitoring to ensure over coating intervals between each coat of paint are in time frame. Making certain the paint materials and storage are in good condition. Ensure necessary inspections are carried out as per specifications. Confirming adequate and proper repairs of all defects has been undertaken. Reviewing of calibration certificates of all required project equipment ensuring they are valid.  Handling/issuing relevant quality documents (such as NCRs, IRNs, site logs, punch lists, production reports, and etcetera).
