My core duties are to maintain and repair all equipment so that the manufacturing process runs in a smooth uninterrupted manner. This would include trouble shooting electrical systems DC, AC, servo motor, servo amps, and motor control systems. My mechanical duties would include welding, cutting, fabricating, and mechanical failure repairs.

I have worked on the Sam's Remodel team for 2.5 years. I have been preparing electrical designs using Auto CAD for the purpose of remodel construction. I have worked on 38 different clubs in several different states. I would design the electrical as-build documents for a club using scope photos and previous as-built drawings provided by our scopers. With Walmart being a nationwide corporation, I have to deal with a wide variety of jurisdictions and different code requirements adopted to the National Electrical Code (NEC) for cities, counties, and states. When a club has finished the permitting stage and moved on to the construction stage, I also have to answer further construction questions that may arise during this transition.

Design of medium voltage switch gears control wiring for oil and gas companies. Designed control wiring for GE Multilin relays that would engage and disengage a switch gear for its intended operation. The equipment needed for each switch gear would typically be chosen by a customer for each application. I would then research how each equipment would be intended to operate. From that point, I would then design a control schematic and 3 line diagram on auto-cad of how to integrate into the companies specific needs of operating each switch gear that was inside of a Pre-manufactured building. The company would manufacture, install and wire each pre-manufactured building in its shop. I would have to answer any questions and correct all problems that arise when building medium voltage switch gear and other pieces of equipment that was built on the shop floor.

Paragon Industries was an oil, gas, and construction pipe manufacturing facility. They had three main buildings. The first building would bend, weld, and cut iron into pipe. The pipe that was made in this building would have a diameter of 8" up to 24" at a thickness of 1/8 to ½ inch. The second building was a pipe testing building that would pressure test each pipe and look for flaws in the metal and welds. The third building had CNC machines designed to thread each end of the pipe. My main duties were to repair and maintain all electrical systems on the company’s property. The electrical maintenance department consisted of only three people. One engineer and two electrical maintenance personnel. This would include installing, repairing, and help program GE versa pro modules, MCC, and VFD’s.
