Charles Bicker, MSt. (Cantab), FRSA is an entrepreneur and strategist, business consultant and speaker, with some 30 years experience of growing organisations and groups to corporate level either in leadership roles or as strategic support, specialising in innovation, entrepreneurship and the development of growth models for social enterprise. This has included groups up to £30M. Charles has worked as a serial social entrepreneur for 19 years; leading, chairing or advising well known organisations such as the iconic and award winning Blackthorn Trust. In addition to enterprise and strategic consultancy, Charles has been involved nationally lobbying for policy development for social enterprise and the creation of network structures; he was joint founding Chair of Social Enterprise South East and founded the Kent & Medway Social Enterprise Network CICHe headed the Innovation for Health project, commissioned by the Minister of Health, which researched and advised on innovation and commissioning with Social Enterprise - one of the outcomes wasThe Innovation Consortium CIC, a national support & policy body. Recently Charles has been working and campaigning to leverage more mainstream investment into social enterprise and sustainability and acts as an adviser in this capacity.Specialties: Specialist sectors include Sustainability (particularly energy and housing), Social Investment, Health, Education, and Employment.
