- Receive site measure jobs and process them within required timeframe for manufacture.- Confirm that all details of the site measure are understood, investigate any anomalies, and clarify these with theQuoting Manager/Residential Supervisor.-Copy the original quote in V6 and alter to accurately reflect the finalised details and measurement of job.-Ensure that any non-standard details are documented in such a way that the factory team can understand them.- Print all relevant job sheets required for the factory team.- Prepare all purchase orders for materials as required in the job and queue the orders in the relevant orderingsystems.- Clearly document within the NZWindows pricing system any price variations between the quoted items and thefinalised items.- Maintain the job sheet files and other paperwork in a tidy and organised manner.- Meet targets and deadlines as set by the Manager.- Ensure all required information is included.- Estimating to be undertaken as required when job sheeting commitments allow.- Receive quotes from Sales Reps and schedule items to be quoted from plans.- Prepare an accurate quotation in V6 estimating software.- Price all units according to the set pricing regime.- Determine the most appropriate method for manufacturing non-standard items and enter accordingly.- Source pricing and quotes where appropriate for items that are not in our system.- Complete a Project Summary and Quotation Letter including any optional variations that may be required.- Identify and inform Sales Reps/Residential Supervisor/Quoting Manager of potential problems areas within the job.- Ensure that the final quotation is clear and accurate.

- Produce each job as per the production schedule/buffer board and as determined by the Production Manager/Department.- Ensure that the production system and the factory buffer boards are kept up to date and accurate. Oversee factory claiming to ensure accuracy and timely manner.- Check the quality and completeness of finished goods to meet the customers' requirements, both internal and external and ensure all items are accurately QA checked and marked complete prior to release for delivery.- Recognise good performance and deal with poor performance.- Check that my area is producing at maximum efficiency using Lean Methodology, an understanding of a Built-in-Quality and meeting the company standards and processes.- Train my team members to ensure a high standard of workmanship and productivity, while maintaining high morale.- See that all plants, tools, and equipment are all maintained and operating at maximum efficiency.- Make improvements continuously and focus on eliminating waste.- Comply with all Health & Safety Regulations and Requirements for the reporting and recording of incidents andaccidents.- Setting good examples for my team to follow. Always abiding by company rules and ensuring that my team isabiding by company rules.- Identify any skill gaps and work with the Factory Supervisor to ensure all these are addressed through training plansand capacity matrix.
