My role at Swissport is twofold. In the first instance I work with the Business to identify and classify Master Data. My other and more significant role involves forming and leading a team of DevOps Engineers in the design and development of an Enterprise Data Hub. This hub is comprised of a Kafka messaging platform as well as a Hadoop data lake. Working with my team we develop and deploy a CI/CD pipeline using open source technologies that is used to build and deploy data containers.Also as a team we work with the Business to clarify data semantics and build enterprise data models that are truly shared across the whole business. Using these model we can then use AI and ML to gain further insights and enable innovation across the whole business.

Working on the integration programme after the Actavis Generics acquisition.Running the pre close-of-contract project for all European countries working with all stakeholders across 17 European countries to collect, analyse and present the required information to enable the move to Day 1.Working with all IT Managers across Europe to ensure that we are adopting the right approach to policies and rules to help smooth future integration work and reduce risk.Understand the detail behind 400+ applications and formulate plans to allow for seamless data and application disposition where necessary.Identify, quantify and articulate the risk per application on, and after, close of contract and ensure that application owners have mitigation plans in place.Work with all the IT Teams across Europe ensuring that cutover plans are in place and that application access testing is performed and signed-off before close of contract.Working with legal counsel to ensure that the appropriate licences are in place for all applications that are coming over to Teva to satisfy regulatory compliance.

I am responsible for formulating the IT Strategy, its implementation and management across all the Portakabin Group of Companies.This includes ensuring that IT delivers the best services to the Business taking into account the Business Objectives.On a daily basis my job involves working with my teams as well as the Business as a whole coordinating the development and delivery of the IT Infrastructure and Business Applications as well as IT Support.

Responsible for managing an Infrastructure Team developing technical services that are designed to meet business needs. My team is also responsible for delivering thin applications and storage area networks.
