    My role at Swissport is twofold. In the first instance I work with the Business to identify and classify Master Data. My other and more significant role involves forming and leading a team of DevOps Engineers in the design and development of an Enterprise Data Hub. This hub is comprised of a Kafka messaging platform as well as a Hadoop data lake. Working with my team we develop and deploy a CI/CD pipeline using open source technologies that is used to build and deploy data containers.Also as a team we work with the Business to clarify data semantics and build enterprise data models that are truly shared across the whole business. Using these model we can then use AI and ML to gain further insights and enable innovation across the whole business.
