As an Operations Supervisor at SelectHealth I manage our service coordinator team in the Small Employer Sales department. Our team works closely with brokers both on new business and renewals. I have been tasked with representing my area in the development of our new online sales platform and ensuring that not only are our needs met but processes are streamlined and automated as much as possible. This new system will also integrate with our SalesForce CRM which I worked on in Large Employer as the New Business Sales Analyst.

Working in our sales department exclusively with new business in large employer, I work with brokers and underwriting to bring in new business. I receive RFP's and track their progress while flagging groups that look like a good fit. I will negotiate with underwriting to get competitive quotes out the door meeting the clients needs. When a group sells I set the group up in our systems with the necessary products and customization of client needs. I work to make sure enrollment is processed correctly and service any errors promptly. I work closely with our Account Executives to anticipate RFP's and prospect for new business. On highly customized groups I will work to renew the client before transitioning to our account management team. I am responsible for several reporting functions including GEO Access reports, account management book of business reports, and any ad hoc reports as requested by our sales director. I was chosen to represent LE New Business in the development of our CRM and workflow management tool. I helped customize SalesForce for our business needs and work through the transition from our old systems.

At Penn Mutual I was not a captive agent and was able to sell products outside as well. I produced life insurance, health insurance, annuity, and IRA products. I also had my series 6 and 63 license enabling me to sell variable products. I gained valuable experience in prospecting and generating sales.
