Youth Director (Volunteer Program) • Develop a volunteer youth program were 50 community youth of ages 7-18 are taught, through basketball, to practice Christian principles such team work, hard work, diligence, commitment, and dependability. Develop activities to boost confidence and facilitate academic success. Administrative Offices (Volunteer Program) Marketing and planning . • Promote awareness of Youth CBC’s youth ministry by developing plans and measures of accountability for church Elders and staff in order to ensure regular meetings with pastors, youth leaders, and church groups.Establish CBC as a recruitment center for youth and volunteer services. This includes promoting CBC’s services through marketing efforts among community leaders and other community partners implementing a plan for regular communication with partner organizations and community leaders.Planning and Operations / Program Development • Developed, implemented and evaluated CBC’s Strategic Plan and program goals and evaluated policy and procedures to ensure productivity of staff in meeting. Convened over planning session(s) with the Board of Elders and helped set priority of needs and services to be provided by the CBC.Human Resource: Staff and Volunteer Development• Directed, motivated, and developed staff and volunteers to align their actions with and promote CBC mission, vision, values, and brand.Hired employees and took steps to ensure staff and volunteers received effective training, development, evaluation and promotion. Ensured implementation of policies and procedures set by the Elders of the Church and the Senior Pastor. Fundraising and Development • Cultivated relationships with diverse funders, managed annual gala and other fundraising efforts, and ensured fulfillment of contract requirements.Secured new sources of funding, particularly from private donors; I doubled the organization’s annual budget.

Develop, implement and evaluate recreational, educational and social activities for teens in youth services. Responsible for supervising and evaluating program staff. Perform regular outreach to the community. Provide technical assistance to guild staff on effective strategies for providing services to youth with emotional/ behavioral problems.

Develop implement, and/or coordinate activities to perpare elementary, middle school and high school students for high school/college. Create awareness of college preparation through regular workshops on college planning and financial aid.
