About Charles Champion

As a staff accountant I spent the first seven years of my career working for two small accounting firms to gain an understanding of various aspects of the accounting profession. I received my license as a Mississippi CPA in March 2002 and began to focus on the attestation aspect of accounting i.e. audits and reviews. In June 2005 I moved to Pender, Newkirk and Company of Tampa, FL and have since concentrated on attestation with a particular focus on construction accounting and small public reporting companies. During the 2008 year I started developing a general knowledge of auditing of 401(k) plans and have begun to pursue that specialty.Specialties: Attestation engagements for small and medium size companies with particular specialty in construction accounting.
