The Risk and Compliance Manager role is an integral part of the Squirrel family, and the key purpose of the role is to work with the business helping to implement and complete risk and compliance requirements so we have an operational risk and compliance framework.Key responsibilities• Work proactively with the business to implement Squirrel’s approved risk management and compliance functions.• Supporting managers, who are responsible for risk in their areas, to define, assess, rate and control their risks and helping them manage their risk management and compliance obligations.• Analyse data and information for reporting purposes to help with the management of Squirrel’s risk.• Partner with the business as a trusted advisor and advocate for improving risk and compliancemanagement processes and culture.• Assist the business to manage current and emerging risks and environments.• Help lead the implementation of policies and supporting structures so they are best practice and fitfor purpose.• Assist the CRO with a training programme across the business on policy, risk appetite, risk maturity,compliance and privacy matters.• Work with the business on Crisis and Incident Management responsibilities and business continuitymanagement.
