Conducted a business review of The Crosby Groups Longview TX facility.Completed a temporary work assignment (11 weeks) as the RTR Accounting Controller for Philips Lighting covering a facility (Lumec) in Quebec Canada.

Provided Financial Management support for the UTC Cargo Group between Controllers. Took over the management of a staff of 9 that included Cost Accounting, General Accounting, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, and Credit & Collections. Supported the Manufacturing and Commercial operations of this multi plant (5) unit of the company. Worked with staff and peers on improving business practices. Acclimated new Controller to his role and the workings of the business over a 3 week time prior that included a month end.

Took the place of the controller who left (standard 2 wk notice). On a temp basis I assumed the function, hired the next controller and then train the individual. During that time I made significant changes to the reporting to conform with company practices. Assignment completed in April 2013, but continued to provide limited assistance through the end of the year.

While I have retired from Philips, I continue to support two previously acquired companies, particular at month end close.I am willing to take similar assignment throughout the world, where I would take over management responsibilities and the reporting relationship with the parent organization, followed by a period of training the local staff in the parent's WOW. I am currently interested in serving Midwest companies as a member of their Board of Directors .

During my retirement, I have taken a temporary position with the Philips Medical team, specifically the Women's Healthcare unit which has purchased Sectra Mamea in Solna Sweden, a suburb of Stockholm. I will assist the integration team with financial reporting and other related issues.

Worked at Philips Lighting North America, Rosemont Ill on a Temp Assignment initially covering for an employee who quite, now covering for an employee who took a medical leave. I will be working at this assignment till sometime in February. Currently covering financial projects and taking on assignments to help others within the group.

Assisted in the Post Merger Integration of Teletrol, Manchester New Hampshire.Goal includes assessment the financial condition of Teletrol, implement Philips policies, train accounting staff in the "Philips" way of doing business.This was a limited time position.

Joined the ex-TIR facility (purchased by Philips in June of 2007) in Burnaby British Columbia as Facility Controller. This facility is in the process of closing. As of July 1st, I am in charge of a small crew that is clean up the facility, selling off the assets and inventory and prepare the final financial statement.Beginning in August 09, I took on the additional position of Finance Work-stream Leader for the Post Merger Integration team - Philips acquisition of Teletrol in Manchester NH.

During my employ at this position, I was involved in the implementation of SAP's ERP system, implementation manager for Kronos Time and Attendance in three facilities. I was the financial controller for a Steel Sliting plant in Chicago then closed it. At the same time I was the Controller of the Monroe WI facility that was eventually sold to Orchid International LLC and the Controller of the Boscobel WI facility. Activity participant with Purchasing in the management of the relationship with Orchid (pricing was a main focus). I was involved in the closure of the Boscobel facility and supported the construction efforts in Juarez Mexico that resulted in the space to close one Juarez facility and move the Boscobel WI facility to Juarez. I have also been involved in the Post Merger Integration of Philip's purchase of the Bodine Co. - Financial Lead. Also, I served as project lead on the reconstruction of the manufacturing facility at Bodine after they had a fire. During this time I also managed the Warehouse crew.
