Since 1996 I have worked heavily in the World of Motorsports. Covering NHRA from 1996 to 2000 I worked a lot on the Hard Camera positions as well as HH camera on the starting line working inches away from Top Fuel cars shooting the whole staging process and crew reactions all while tethered with Triax to a Live truck. This was for Diamond P Sports and some Mullin Production Group, broadcast on TNN, ESPN2, and ABC Sports. In between Drag Races I shot a lot of AMA Pro Motorcycle Road Racing for Chet Burks Productions for broadcast on Speed. I was invited to work as a Hard Camera Operator by John Mullin (Mullin Production Group)the last two years of Champ Car until the series merged with Indy. I have worked ASA, ARCA, Grand Am Rolex, ALMS, Indy, Motocross, Flat Track Motorcycles, World of Outlaws, Sprint Cars, IHRA, and other stuff working off of Live Trucks. I was working a Hard Camera for IMS at Barber for the 2013 Indy Race with Mike Wells directing the NBC show. I worked the 2013 Detroit Grand Prix at Belle Isle for the ABC Broadcast as a Hard Camera Operator. To be invited to shoot these events speaks more for my qualifications than I can articulate! The standards are high. I have a background in this business that is shaped by great people that I learned a lot from, and still do. We set up, shot and struck these races running miles of cable, building platforms as high as 50'. I have a theme I live by, "Build to Strike, Strike to Build". In the corporate world it is more important than ever to use time wisely and NOT WAIST motion. I Love Cable, I treat gear like it was my own. I make sure all the goods are put back better than I found it. I have experience shooting ring side MMA, some basketball, Music stuff, corporate doing HH or Hard Camera.I am not a white glove camera guy and I know what over under is!. This space is too small to put it all....
