Qualified as a solicitor in 1984 dealing with Private Client work-became a partner in the firm in 1987 and headed various offices of Everys Solicitors before opening the Exeter office in 2000. Relocated to the Dubai office in 2010 and returned to England to the firm's Exmouth office in 2020.Dealing with transactional licensed property work.Played rugby for many years -appointed as a Judicial Officer with the United Arab Emirates Rugby Federation in September 2011 to handle disciplinary issues and now a Judicial Officer for both the Asia Rugby (formerly ARFU) and World Rugby (formerly the International Rugby Board). Handled international tournaments in various countries including Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Korea, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Taipei and Malaysia. Appointed by World Rugby for the World Under 20s Championship in Georgia in June 2017 and Perpignan in June 2018, seven World Series Sevens Tournaments and for the Six Nations in 2019 and 2020.Now acting as an Independent Judicial Panel Chair for the RFU when time permits.
