I am a Preclinical Toxicology Data Management Specialist with many years of experience. I have a Masters of Science in Environmental Toxicology from Towson University. Under the mentorship of Dr. Christopher Salice I researched the impact of PFAS on the environment, insects, and reptiles. After I graduated from Towson University I was hired by the University of Pennsylvania as a Research Specialist and Lab Manager for Dr. Bart DeJonghe. In this role I researched methods to relieve nausea side effect symptoms resulting from Chemotherapy and GLP-1 pharmaceutical treatments by enlisting and observing various animal models . This experience then allowed me to progress to my position as the Data Management Specialist for the Gene Therapy Program at the University of Pennsylvania, which specializes in gene therapies for orphan diseases. Working with GTP allowed then provided me with the opportunity to expand into the private industry, where I am currently employed as the Data Management Specialist of the Pharmatoxicology unit with Franklin Biolabs.
