About Charles Danuser
I am currently a Associate Technical Consultant in Security Delivery at AHEAD. Though I come from a non-traditional background, I have been able to steadily progress my IT career through hard work, self determination, and critical thinking. I hold an Applied Cybersecurity Certificate from SANS Technical Institute, which includes a GFACT, GSEC, GCIH, and GCIA. These certifications taught me a lot, but also serve to validate all the hardwork I put in on my own to transition into the Information Security field. I have a deep passion for cybersecurity, and continually try to learn and sharpen my skills as a cyber practitioner every day. This entails participating in SANS cyber range events, entering many CTFs, tackling TryHackMe and Hack the Box challenges, as well as building IDS systems at home. On a personal level, I love to travel, and feel a deep connection to music. On any given weekend, you can either find me at a concert with friends, traveling to a new and interesting city, or working on my computer at home. I often still read philosophical texts as well. All in all, while my passion and drive is poured in to my career as a cybersecurity specialist, I strive for balance of mind, body, and soul. I give every project my all, and do my best to add great value to my company, and to those in my personal life.
