I have been working in the financial planning and asset management industry for nearly 29 years. In the mid 1980's, I started my career as a broker with a NYC-based financial services firm, and managed an office for the company in San Jose, CA, for five years -ending in 1991.In 1992, I returned to Connecticut to build a wealth management business based on the principles of personal service, product and strategy independence, and continuing education. Over the last 18 years, I have been associated with a number of financial planning and asset management firms. I have continued to develop and improve investment strategies that aim to perform well in boom and bust cycles, and to provide financial planning solutions that strive to have a positive impact on the financial futures of my clients. In May of 2011, looking for an even more complete wealth management platform, I joined Cambridge Investment Research (Cambridge), a highly-regarded national Registered Investment Advisor, dedicated to providing its advisors with "best-in-class" practice management support - for both household and institutional clients. In April of 2012, I combined the resources of Cambridge with the talents of other trusted partners to form Riverside Financial Group, LLC.My goal is to adhere to the wisdom of T. Boone Pickens, Jr., who said; "Money is to be respected. One of the worst things you can do is handle another person's money without respect for how hard it was to earn."
