Reconnaissance Scout at 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion at camp Pendleton CA from March 2013 – March 2017•Served as a Scout in the Marine Corps and performed various task such as intelligence gathering, patrolling, weapons handling detainee handling and combat lifesaving (first aid)•Supervised a team of 16 Marines as section leader through our deployment from April 2015-December 2015. During that time I was responsible for the well being, training and development for each Marine as well as safety during any given task. •Received training in multiple weapons systems, radios, self-defense, urban/security tactics and thermal imagery systems. •Conducted security in Kuwait in August 2015 Squad leader 1st Light Armored Recon battalion from December 2015 – March 2017 •Assisted in maintaining Marine readiness which resulted in an increase from 80 to 98 percent overall combat reediness •Managed 40 Marines and directed multiple training events such as live fire ranges with multiple weapon systems, field training and scout packages as well as provide guidance for each Marine•Successfully trained 3000 naval academy midshipmen in urban and security combat operations over the course of 3 months from June 2016 – August 2016
