Once I retired, I decided to take some time off so that I could enjoy spending time with my family.

Served as the Special Equipment Manager for the 10th Mountain Division, 10th Sustainment Brigade, Support Operations; provided technical and tactical advice to brigade staff members, maintenance officers concerning maintenance issues; compiles, analyzes and processes daily and weekly reports extracted from automated logistics management systems to research and provide equipment status updates; organizes and conducts staff assistance visits.

Served as the 10th Mountain Division Sustainment Brigade Support Operations Materiel Readiness Branch Manager and as the Embedded Logistic Advisory Team Senior Manager ; provided staff supervision and guidance for maintenance and repair parts procedures; coordinated maintenance plans and programs for five companies; assisted in developing maintenance policies and procedures for the 10th Mountain Division; prepares briefings for Senior Staff on all aspects of material readiness for the 10th Mountain Division; responsible for the training, health, morale, and welfare of 14 personnel; responsible for ensuring the proper distribution of funds to designated personnel during Democratic Republic of the Congo(DRC) mission; provided mentorship and guidance for DRC instructors and students; responsible for observing classroom teaching techniques and provide valuable feedback back to the commander of the school; responsible for equipment and facilities valued over $1.7 million.

Served as Operations Manager for the 10th Sustainment Brigade (SBDE) Support Operations (SPO) section in the Combined Joint Operations Area-Afghanistan (CJOA-A); effectively coordinates information flow between various staff sections including Food and Water, Bulk Petroleum, Ammo, Distribution, Financial Management, Routing Identifier Code Geographical, Human Resources Operations Branch, Material Readiness Branch and Sustainment Automation Systems Management Office and 15 Task Forces (TF) and 2 Combined Joint Task Force (CJTF);
