Responsibilities included:Developing and implementing a formal, documented, risk-driven security strategy.Understanding and assessing the risks, threats and vulnerabilities confronting the organization and continuously aligning the business and security resources behind these in a prioritized, risk-driven manner.Continually monitoring all security threats (such as criminal threats, natural disasters or city-specific events) with potential implications for the program's mission and objectives.Leading and directing the organization's preparation for events that could disrupt the continuity of business operations including targeted attacks (e.g., physical, informational); natural events (e.g., floods, tornados, hurricanes); and criminal activity (e.g., fraud, embezzlement, theft).Overseeing the company's emergency response and crisis management plans.Undertaking a robust approach to incident prevention, response, management and recovery.Ensuring the security of the organization's financial, physical and intangible assets through a balanced, holistic and integrated approach to people, process and technology.Supporting the organization's compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements with respect to areas such as privacy, data protection and environmental health and safety.Managing, planning and forecasting the operational and capital budgets for the security program. Tracking program performance using an organized and systematic methodology of metrics, measurement and security scorecards.Maintaining effective liaison with all stakeholders in the viability and success of the enterprise, including federal, state and local law enforcement, intelligence, homeland security and industry regulatory agencies and their representatives as well as media, investors, shareholders and strategic business partners.
