As a Product Manager since 2014, I have nine years of product management experience that have taught me many lessons, but the last seven years have been the most instructive as I have pursued the creation of first-of-its-kind software platforms and applications in industries where they did not exist. This has challenged me to learn new markets and communicate new ideas to my stakeholders both internally and externally. Within the company walls, I am respected and well liked, able to influence with or without authority to manage conflicting priorities and drive decisions across a broad range of stakeholders. I work with the development teams, architects, sales engineers, our current customers and our potential customers to understand the needs of their markets in order to develop and bring to market products that solve real problems. From these interactions I must understand the application, the customer, the culture, and our competition to make these products a success. As a polished speaker, I know how to create an engaging presentation and deliver it with confidence to a small customer group or hundreds of people from diverse cultures as a featured trade show speaker.
