Lead a 5-10 person team of Manufacturing Engineers in a fast paced AS9100 CNC machine shop. I strive to create an environment that promotes team success through collaboration and critical thinking.- Oversee day-to-day functions of the Engineering team and maintain accountability for deliverables.- Develop and implement engineering processes and procedures to ensure efficiency.- Collaborate with other departments to meet stakeholders’ needs.- Provide data driven feedback to senior management to aid business decisions.- Monitor and analyze engineering data to identify trends and areas for improvement.- Develop and mentor team members in their pursuit of performance excellence.

• Provide lead engineering support in a production environment• Develop manufacturing processes to produce precision components• Monitor the performance of multiple projects with the use of Kaizen• Collaborate with team members to resolve technical production issues• Install automation for improved process control and efficiency• Support lean manufacturing strategies for continuous improvement• Determine sequence of operations for providing customer estimates• Develop cost effective strategies to achieve business goals• Design fixtures and function gages for ease of manufacture• Employ efficient strategies in programming 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC Mills• Coordinate the installation of new machinery with rigging team• Maintain AS9100 practices in an Aerospace & Defense environment• Communicate technical customer requirements to outside vendors

• Hand and pneumatic deburring of finished parts• Tool Crib maintenance and CNC tool set-up• Design, mill, lathe, jig grind/bore, and surface grind precision tooling• Mechanical inspection, CMM programming and operation• CNC Mill set-up, operation, and troubleshooting

• Deburring, CNC lathe operation, mechanical assembly, parts washing• Support manufacturing team as needed

• Manage a small team of customer service representatives• Process POS transactions• Open/close store, deposit cash, order stock
