As the Graduate Assistant for Living Learning/Themed Communities and Academic Initiatives I served EMU in the following ways: Supervise a staff of 10 Community Programmers, ensure that all programs are meeting their Living Learning Theme Community pillars and that residents are gaining the most they can out of their programming efforts, design and send out a news letter to keep all parties up to date on what's going on within the LLTC community, organize two large scale events that residents of LLTC's can attend to explore the rich history of our local community and become invested therein, serve as a connection between the academic side of university and housing through faculty networking and programming, track 90-120 programs per academic semester and provide supplies, balance the budget of the Community Programmers, design 2-4 new LLTC initiatives on campus, serve on the Student Staff Development Committee and the Staff Appreciation special project committee, and teach new paraprofessional staff members in Swoop School the basics of being an EMU housing representative, among other duties as assigned.

As an intern for the Disability Support Services at Indiana University I served the department in the following ways:Researched the intersection of Ability and LGBTQ identities and shared out resources I found therein, researched the newest additions to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Health Disorders so that I might best serve students, became familiar with the software Accommodate and how to input students information therein, organized the list of students within Accommodate who had service or care animals within their residence halls, facilitated meetings with students with concussions and provided resources and accommodations for them, served as an advocate and liaison between students with concussions and faculty members, assisted in marketing techniques to make Disability Support Services more friendly to the public and students, studied the law of Disability Support Services, attended the AHEAD 2016 conference in Indianapolis and reported back my findings, among other duties as assigned.

As a Grad Hall Director at EMU I have several different responsibilities. I supervise a staff of 10 Resident Assistants and co-supervise 1 Community Programmer. I host weekly 1:1's and evaluate my RA's work performance, and host weekly meetings during which I provide opportunities for professional development. I have lead several training sessions, including bonus sessions during the school year, and taken part in three committees: Residential Operations wherein I standardized the closing process of all the halls on campus and wrote the manual for future closing, Marketing wherein I assisted in planning large scale whole campus events, and the Oshkosh Placement Exchange Committee wherein I evaluated candidates in person and on paper for future GHD positions on campus. I have served on a duty rotation for over 9,000 students and have responded to several high intensity incidents.

As a Senior Resident Assistant at Fort Lewis College I had several different responsibilities: supervise a staff of 7, lead and facilitate RHA meetings, lead sections of staff meetings, file work orders for facility damages, plan community programs, and keep tabs on the mental health of my residents.

As a Crew Leader I had the following duties: supervise a staff of 16, organize the tasks for the day, participate in physical labor tasks, follow up and ensure tasks were being completed, facilitate one on ones, mediate staff conflicts, and debrief on weekly tasks with the Crew Supervisor.
