About Charles Faircloth

Started at Lithonia Lighting in 1978 as member of the two year Model Making apprenticeship program at Lithonia Lighting. Worked my way up to Sr. Model Maker before transfering to the Lithonia Lighting Corp. Tool Engineering department in 1983 as a Jr. Machine Designer. In the tool engineering department I worked my way up to Sr. Machine designer over a two year period. In this position I was responsible for the design and fabrication of special equipment, assembly jigs/fixtures, and special projects for all of the Lithonia production facilities in North America.In 1997 I transfered to the PMD Model Shop as the Manager of Prototyping for all PMD groups located in Conyers, GASpecialties: Machine DesignJig/Fixture DesignProduct DesignProtoyping using a broad variety of methods such as Poly Jet, SLA, FDM, RTV Molding, RPM Casting of Aluminum, Sand Casting, CNC Machining, Rapid Sheet Metal, Wood Working, Injection molding
