Market development manager /Account Manager covering the Northeast and portions of the Midwest. Responsibility for market development at OEM's specifying high performance polymers coupled with sales account responsibilities for key buying accounts.

Responsible for establishing, developing and growing the Vicote PEEK coatings. Worked extensively in the oil and gas and appliance markets finding unique applications that matched the product line's value proposition.

Primary role was running the coating facility with a unique process of hot-flocking epoxy powders onto foodservice equipment. Typical film thicknesses were 250-500 microns. Maintained pretreatments line, grit-blasting and shot-blasting areas. We also applied PA11 in a fluidized bed operation. In addition to the coatings operation, was responsible for the weldling, machining and sheet metal departments. Managed up tp 26 direct reports. When I began, the epoxy line was running at less than 20% yields; we were able to optimized it to well over 90% within three months.

Managed the fluoropolymer production coating molds and Scienceware components for Bel-Art's product line. We also performed job shop work for outside customers requiring fluoropolymer coating services. Supervised and managed the powder coating line which coated wire good products for the Scienceware division. Additionally managed the welding and PTFE film casting production lines. Maintained inventory and production records through the corporate ERP system.

General Plastics a specialized fluoropolymer coating job shop specializing in the chemical processing industry. Managed unionized production workers. Processes included grit-blasting, spray and hot-flocking of thick film fluoropolymers (up to 600 microns).

Founded fluoropolymer job shop specializing in high volume automotive electronic components, producing up to 12MM parts per year. Managed all aspects of the business, from finance to production. Sold the business in 2001./
