In 2008, I was promoted as Project Manager of Corix’s Austin Energy Meter Reading Contract in Texas, providing a means to use my extensive experience acquired through his eight years as Project Supervisor on Corix's Rochester Gas & Electric (RG&E) Meter Reading Project.For the Austin project, I was responsible for the supervision of four supervisors, 35 meter readers, an administrative clerk and 15 additional staff for special read/soft services. I was also responsible for ensuring the project met or exceeded contractual requirements in providing accurate meter reading services in a safe and timely manner. I ensured target levels for quality, costs and safety were achieved.The Austin Energy contract involves reading more than 230,000 water and electric meters per month.

As Project Supervisor, I was instrumental in restructuring RG&E’s meter reading routes, thereby achieving route optimization. I was highly regarded for my leadership and problem solving abilities as well as my in-depth knowledge of RG&E territories.Corix manually read 360,000 electric meters and 297,000 gas meters for the RG&E contract which covered 2,700 square miles in a nine county region.

As Meter Reading Supervisor, I was responsible for the supervision, training and work assignments of 50 meter readers at RG&E.

As a Meter Reader, I was responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all assigned residential and commercial gas and electric meters.
