Responsible for providing expert training on the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) which is the Army’s next generation Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Beyond-Line-of-Sight (BLOS) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) waveform. Serves as a member of the Army’s MUOS Integration Team under Program Manager Tactical Radio (PM TR). The MUOS integration mission includes end to end MUOS classes, workshops, training events, troubleshooting, and overall MUOS support. Detailed MUOS workshops and MITEs (MUOS Integrated Training Events) are provided to all military components; Active, Reserve and National Guard. All MITE events are geared toward providing the unit with training experience that will enhance the knowledge, skillset, and confidence regarding the MUOS waveform. Responsible for providing increased understanding of the MUOS waveform to facilitate communications planning and operation in a real-world environment, Improved coverage, and capacity, Improved Services and User Experience. Provides units with step-by-step instructions in creating and using the web-based enterprise planning systems for the request and reservation of Department of Defense (DOD) SATCOM resources and Key Management Requirements. Extensive experience in telecommunications systems to include but not limited to HARRIS, TRELISWARE and COLLINS ROCKWEL, Handheld and Manpack radios. Tactical LAN (TACLAN), Simple Key Loader Device (SKL). Knowledgeable and experienced in the formulation and execution of organizational training programs. Experienced in assessing training requirements, identify, and evaluate training alternatives, and develop and maintain the required hardware and software instructor-led training materials to include a variety of training approaches: traditional classroom, programmed learning, hands-on, simulation, video, audio, and computer aided training requirements. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Provided training support to include coordinating with operational units on all training requirements and prerequisites and ensuring unit personnel have all training preparations completed. Supports training events to operational U.S. Air Force units such as Air Support Operations Squadrons (ASOS), Rescue Squadrons (RS), Special Tactics Squadrons (STS), Tactical Air Control Party Flights (TACP), and U.S. Army units which included training of MUOS System capabilities, terminal planning processes and procedures, terminal provisioning processes and procedures, COMSEC management processes and procedures, and terminal operation procedures. NATIONAL MISSION BRIGADE G6 ADVISOR, P.A.E, CAMP TAYLOR AFGHANISTANJanuary 2020-PresentProvided support, leadership and oversight to the National Mission Brigade (NMB) Headquarters (HQ) G6 Office. Advised, assisted, and mentored the NMB G6 Officer and his staff to include all NMB subordinate organization, and Coalition Counterparts on all aspects related to countrywide adjacent and lateral communications planning and implementation. The NMB’s mission is equivalent to the Special Activities Division, Central Intelligence Agency, U.S. Army Delta Force/Ranger Counter Terrorism, Rapid Deployment, Direct Action and Force Protection Unit used in responses across all spectrums for National Mission Crisis. Interfaced with at all levels from the Ministry of Defense down to the Afghan National Army Special Operations Command (ANASOC) Corps G6 Officer and Battle Staff, SOTF-A, and NSOCC-A by actively assisting with daily oversight of all communications operational tasks. Also assumed the duties and responsibilities of the Support Operations SME executing the duties of the NMB G4 Advisor during the Covid-19 Pandemic when the assigned NMB G4 Advisor was restricted from returning to Afghanistan due to quarantine restrictions directed by the RS Commander. Assumed the role of Logistics Advisor, Weapons and Techniques Advisor, and Facilities Engineer Advisor which included oversight of all NMB current construction contracts and planning for the scheduled expansion of the NMB to a Division Minis Brigade. Daily interaction with ANASOC Engineer Advisor and Procurement while directing and assisting with all equipment issue and turn-in, construction site surveys, vendor selection, and contract completion.

One of four FSR’s for all of Afghanistan that coordinated and evaluated installations and/or reconfiguration of the Digital Video Broadcast-Return Channel Satellite (DVB-RCS) systems, hardware, and software interconnections for interfacing Unmanned Aerial System networks. Performed equipment installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training for DVB-RCS program in the Afghanistan Theater of operations. Also, provided user assistance to military and civilian subscribers via telephone as well as on-sight installation, repairs, and operational instruction. Provide logistical and deployment support for equipment and upgrades as needed. Equipment includes Advantech DVBS2 modems, KG-175D/KG-250 encryption devices, Makito video encoders/decoders, Novra S300 DVB satellite data receivers, and Cisco 2960/3560 switches.

Served as the Senior Trainer and Developer for the Special Operations Aviation Team (SOAT), assisting the G6 Brigade office with Command and Control support, resource management, and radio training on the Harris 7800 Falcon III family of radios. Organize training for SOAT Mission Systems Operators (MSO) on the proper installation of Harris communication systems aboard the PC12 fixed wing aircraft and MI17 helicopters. Instruct MSO’s on the proper configuration of Harris radios and loading of the Harris Communications Planning Application (CPA) for secure communication between PC12s and Afghan ground elements during combat operations.

Maintained the Joint Integrated SATCOM Tool (JIST) for processing International Partner Satellite Access Request/Satellite Access Authorizations for the planning, managing, controlling, monitoring, status reporting of DoD satellite communications resources. Also, responsible for maintaining the Joint Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Management and Planning System (JSMPS), which provided all spectrum users situational awareness and decision support for access to six spectrum applications: Electromagnetic Interference/Purposeful Interference/Electronic Attack, Commercial, Narrowband, Mobile User Objective System (MUOS), Protected, and Wideband. Assisted in developing and testing SATCOM and telecommunications systems, facilities, services and procedures using established criteria, techniques. Provided direction, recommendations, and solutions for SATCOM and telecommunications capabilities, functionalities and challenges in support of strategic, operational, and tactical levels of war. Collected statistical data to prepare reports and conduct analysis of SATCOM and telecommunications system. Assisted SATCOM users with planning, development, execution and evaluation of electromagnetic spectrum operations ensuring Combatant Commands, Services, Agencies and International Partners with SATCOM planning in support of their mission requirements.

Mentor to the Afghan National Army Special Operations Command-Special Operations Assistance Group (ANASOC-SOAG) G6 Operations Officer supporting automation and network management, and information security. Also coordinates all communication aspects for tactical operations for all staff planning. The system control center-2 (SCC-2) assists the G6 and the deputy G6 in managing all of the division's communications systems.

Coordinate all Motorola, Codan, and Harris shipments and wearhousing of communications equipment for all Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan governmental agencies. Also, coordinate installation and training for above equipment. Interface with high level Tajik governmental leadership from all agencies such as, Drug Control Agency, Presidential National Guard, Border Guard, OMON Special Forces, Ministry of Interior, Committee of Emergency Services, and Ministry of Defense. All efforts are focused of helping the governmental agencies of Tajikistan to improve border security for counter narcotics and anti-terrorism.

Provided training and technical support to the ANASOC forces conducting national security and defense operations in a high-intensity conflict environment. In direct support to U.S. Special Operations personnel using Pashto interpreters to train and enable the 9th Afghan Commandos to use their communications equipment to enhance combat operations capabilities. Provided training to the Battalion S6 Officer on maintaining proper accountability of all assigned communications equipment, development of the Signal Annex to Operation Orders, Primary-Alternate-Contingency-Emergency Plans, and to use the Afghan supply system to order radio replacement parts. Also assisted the S6 Officer with coordinating a cooperative agreement with the 207th Corps Communications Director for the installation of encryption cards into Datron 1099 VHF radios which provided the organization with the capability to encrypt VHF communications during combat operations.

Senior Staff Training Manager of three Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) courses for the 15th Regimental Signal Brigade training over 3,000 students in the following fields: Radio Operator, Signal Support Systems Specialist, and Cable Systems Installer-Maintainer. Routinely monitored and evaluated the performance of 175 instructors to assess training, strategies and curriculum. Implemented changes to training programs by making improvements, corrective actions, and continues review of policies and procedures. Collaborated closely with Battalion staff to negotiate and resolve challenges with higher authorities of the Fort Gordon and the US Army.

Served as Senior Enlisted Adviser for a signal training company; motivated, developed, and mentored more than 1,000 initial entry training students on a daily basis. Maintained an unprecedented 100% strict personnel evaluation and reporting system, which was adopted by the Battalion as the standard foe all companies to follow. Developed and defined the roles and duties of Senior and Junior Military Leaders within an organization of 500 personnel and supervised 33+ Non commissioned officers, ensuring that operations and training standards were met daily. Solely responsible for the health, welfare, morale and discipline of each Soldier in the company; took a “substandard” company and transformed it into the best in the 15th Signal Brigade.

The sole communications adviser for the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Region Iraqi Border Patrol which consisted of 200+ border policeman responsible for the security of 75 miles of the Iraqi and Syrian border. Also, served as the communications adviser for the 2nd Battalion, 4th Brigade, 4th Infantry Division of the Iraqi Army which consisted of 500+ Iraqi soldiers. Worked closely with Arabic interpreters to train and assist Iraqi communications counterparts in planning and operating FM and HF communications networks to identify and eliminate failures within their networks, vastly improving command and control during combat operations.
