Expert and Leader of integrating petroleum disciplines to identify and capture asset value. Able to build, mentor and focus staff towards generating success, finding new opportunities, and breaking paradigms.By learning from and working with the industry’s best minds, I have led my entire career towards bridging Reservoir Engineering (PTA/RTA, Simulation) with Hydraulic Fracturing (Operations and Simulation), GeoMechanics, and Petrophysics with Economics for Field Optimization. It is only through a detailed integration that we can precisely define an asset’s description and quantify the remaining potential.

Reservoir Engineering ManagerTom Brown, Inc. Aug 1999 - Dec 2003Denver, Colorado, United StatesHired, managed and mentored 23 reservoir engineers, petrophysicists, and technologists through 4 corporate divisions. Drove the identification and implementation of company growth through a systematic study of existing fields. Oversaw the economics, reserves, budgeting, and planning for the company portfolio.- Net daily production increased from 115MMcfde to 325MMcfde, while PDP and PUD booked reserves increased from 0.4Tscfe to 1.1Tscfe during a 4 year period.- Identified development or acquisition opportunities which led to an increase in TBI’s share price from $12.75/share to $48.00/share when purchased by Encana. This resulted in a market cap increase from $400 million to $2.2 billion in less than five years with a minor rise in natural gas prices.- Oversaw Yearly Reserves, Economics, Capital Budgeting, and overall Corporate Planning for guidance.- Increased capital spending from $47MM/yr to over $286MM/yr while staying within cash flow.Key Projects Include:- Evaluated Matador and Stellarton Acquisitions which added ~325Bscfe of PDP reserves.- Mimm’s Creek Field: Increased gas production from 6 MMcfd to >70 MMcfd in 4 years. Full-field reservoir simulation and hydraulic fracture stimulation matching supported infill wells in the low permeability Bossier Sandstone (0.001-0.009mD). Down spaced from 160 acres to 20 acres and increased reserves from 39 Bscf to 195 Bscf.- East Roanoke Field: Identified offset vertical well in LA that resulted in >20MMscfd exploitation development.-Andy’s Mesa Field, Paradox Basin: increased from 3 MMcfde to 40 MMcfde from the full-field reservoir study that showed infill and frac stimulation opportunities. Grew reserves from 25 Bcf to over 125 Bcf.- White River Dome Field: Increased production from 6 MMcfde to 33 MMcfde in 2 years on a fracture stimulated coal play at a depth range of 6500’-8000’. Believed to be the deepest economical coal play in the world.
