Everyone has potential. Everyone. We help leaders unlock their potential to become even better versions of themselves and the type of leader people want to follow. Our leadership development programs are designed to help leaders:• Become better managers, leaders, and coaches• Take control of their time• Increase engagement and retentionStatistics show that 80% of supervisors have been promoted because they:• Were good individual contributors• Have seniority• Are better than the alternativeThe statistics also show that only about 10% of supervisors have innate leadership abilities. The bad news:• Many organizations promote people without intentionally developing them• Supervisors struggle to transition from “doing” the work to “managing”• Leaders are left guessing, and guessing causes stress• Stress is transferred to the front-line employees, which leads to engagement and retention problemsThe good news:• Leadership can be learned• Most supervisors genuinely want to become good leaders• We have a proven process to help themContact us today to see if we’d be a good fit for your organization..............My background:I'm a lifelong student of leadership. I have a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership, and I'm pursuing a Doctor of Strategic Leadership. My first major was classical guitar performance, and I still play often!I spent the first decade of my professional career in law enforcement. I was promoted to the rank of sergeant and became involved with our department's mental health program. When this became a formal unit, I was selected to lead and develop the full-time team. Another part of my role was training. I was responsible for training sworn and recruit officers in the 40-hour crisis intervention (de-escalation) course. I also trained non-sworn city personnel in both de-escalation and leadership.I still offer de-escalation workshops and have written a book about de-escalation. Contact me today if you're interested in equipping your employees to become more confident and effective communicators during challenging interactions.I am also fortunate to still be working with law enforcement, though in a different capacity, as a leadership trainer all across Texas. The Texas Police Chiefs Association's flagship leadership course, Developing Leaders for Texas Law Enforcement, is based on the West Point model of leadership development. In addition to the flagship course, I also teach the Leadership for the Field Training Officer course.#Leadership#Retention#Culture#Communication#Deescalation
