My name is Charles Hite, and I am actively seeking career opportunities. I am writing this letter to share my story, in hopes of helping you to better understand how I’ve gotten to where I am today.I graduated from Covenant Day High School and am a Appalachian State University alumnus. Since college, I’ve held a variety jobs: medical sales representative, financial development assistant, operations analyst, account executive, and more. To be transparent, I never kept a position too long because I was attempting to function amidst a battle of addiction and was in and out of multiple rehab facilities and programs. I hit rock bottom in early 2021, and I am forever grateful. Through a series of life-altering events, and what I believe to be a miracle, the trajectory of my life forever changed. I am happy to report that I am now sober from the drugs I had been abusing, I am living my life for Christ, I am actively involved in the community. I also started a mental health podcast (@TheRabbitHoleShow). We just celebrated a one year anniversary with 45 episodes of myself and guest sharing our stories offering hope to others. I was recently with R.B. Pharr working as a land surveyor. This job has been a gift as it has allowed me a low-stress environment to foster the skills of discipline, hard work and accountability as I “re-entered society.” I am, however, ready for what’s next.I am passionate about helping others, I want to use, and share, my story, I have strong empathy, I am hard working, I am extremely intentional and relational, and I am willing and ready to learn.
