These areas of responsibilities included new gas turbine products, renewable energy (geothermal, biomass & solar thermal technologies), power generation facilities Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC), industrial gas turbine component manufacturing and repair services, aftermarket services, power plant design, construction, operations and maintenance, project development, project financing and the management of joint venture and licensee relationships.Business development activities encompassed the identification, evaluation and execution of strategic acquisitions in support of core business goals. Also served on corporate executive committees for emerging markets investment strategy and the identification and development of new product and service offerings.Commercial operations consisted of full P&L responsibilities directing research and development for new products / innovations, manufacturing and supply chain management, aftermarket services, customer relations, developing market strategy and implementation thereof, project opportunity review and triage, proposal development, contract negotiations, financing and project execution / management.Since 2002 annual business revenue grew from approximately one hundred fifty million to nearly one billion US dollars, backlog opportunities increased ten fold and international company presence expanded to more than 45 countries worldwide.
