Check call logs for spelling/grammatical errors and policy violations. Perform monthly quality assurance checks and review all call delay sheets to ensure the shift runs smoothly and efficiently. Update employees with new or changed policy/procedure information and answer any questions regarding current policies and procedures.Evaluate the dispatchers and trainers on his/her shift which includes yearly evaluations for all veteran dispatchers and six month evaluations for all new dispatchers. Responsible for daily evaluation. Investigate complaints and commendations for assigned personnel and resolve complaints appropriately. Reviewing pursuits per police department policy. Recommend and administer disciplinary action, such as coaching and counseling, as necessary. Mediate employee conflicts.Troubleshoot all equipment problems and ensure that the various pieces of equipment used in dispatch are in working order and work areas are kept clean.Accurately maintain several types of paperwork, such as dispatcher's daily reports, monthly reports and statistical reports in an organized manner. Ensure all dispatch reports and forms necessary for police department functions are placed in the appropriate network files and emailed to employees in a timely manner.

Responsible for operating acommunications console and related equipment to dispatch police, fire personnel and afterhour city on-call staff in response to requests for assistance in emergency situations inaccordance with established departmental procedures and policies. Provide information tointernal and external customers. Answer all 911 and business line calls for City ofFayetteville including medical calls. Also responsible for some clerical duties, recordkeeping, data entry, and assisting in training new employees and co-workers.

As a FCTL I ensured the smooth operation of the front counter, delegated associates totasks and trained associates. I was the store closer, which included balancing the safe,making bank deposits and preparing registers for the next day. I also assisted customerswith anything they may need, or any problems they had. Prior to being a FCTL I was acustomer service associate, this included customer service, inventory, stocking, setup andtear down of displays, and sales for all products (Movies, Music, Games, Books, etc.)

My responsibilities were to ensure the smooth operation of the store, train employees andensure policies of the company were being followed.
