As part of the team contracted to work with the team at VC Entertainment, I work on the WWE series of video games.• Work with the online team to develop new features and maintain quality of code and features• Refactored and wrote new classes to manage the online multiplayer invite and lobby systems• Designed new classes to overhaul legacy systems for making requests to 1st party API• Enabled new game modes to be available for online play• Support other teams in developing online features for their game modes• Collaborate with members across multiple pods to fix bugs

As part of the infusion pump development team, wore many hats to contribute to all aspects of ICU Medical’s product ecosystem sold internationally.• Created client services in the user applications and created REST API endpoints in the server application to respond to those requests• Wrote command handlers and business logic to process requests and interface with the SQL Server database using Entity Framework and LINQ• Took charge of an effort to refactor the database design; implemented domain objects and associated view and model objects and configured the EF builder to maintain table relationships• Created WPF application screens and wrote screen handlers in line with the MVC design principle• Used Fluent Assertions to write unit tests for services, endpoints, and command handlers, and fixed bugs as necessary• Added SSL authentication to communication between user applications and the server application to ensure communication met cybersecurity standards• Took over development and bug fixing of the infusion pump’s onboard C++ software when the embedded systems developer exited• Wrote Bash scripts and Makefiles and used Docker to streamline the build process of the infusion pumps operating system image• Worked closely with the head of the SCM team and wrote documentation to support build automation for product software

I maintained multiple servers used on programs throughout the company to meet security specifications set by the government. I also wrote exporter scripts in Python, created and designed a database in Prometheus, and designed a user interface in Grafana to create a security dashboard to monitor system health on machines across multiple networks. This dashboard was then deployed across multiple programs throughout the campus to aid in their development.

As a tutor for the CSE Department of UCSD, I helped weekly lab hours to help students answer any questions they had and better understand their coursework. I also helped the Professor with grading student work and maintain campus standards of quality and integrity.

As a conversation leader, I engaged international students from around the world in English conversations tailored to meet their skill levels and learning needs. I also exchanged cultures with students to help them better understand American culture, and to learn other cultures myself.
