Charles L. Lowery holds the B.A. in Spanish with a minor in English from the University of Texas - Tyler. He holds the M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University where he also earned the doctorate in Secondary Education and Educational Leadership. Additionally, he holds the M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology in Online Instruction from Walden University. Dr. Lowery teaches courses with a focus on organizational theory and practice, conflict management, human behavior, school-community relations, and qualitative methods. His major research interests include the impact of perspectives and perceptions of leadership on decision making and resource allocation in educational settings and the actualization of scholar-practitioner educational leaders as authentic, spiritual, and morally democratic agents of social justice, equity, and care for schools and society.
