I have practiced law since 1980, first as a Judge Advocate with the United States Army, next with the United States Department of Energy (where I learned patent law) and as a private practitioner in Clearwater, Florida since May, 1985. I was mobilized as a member of the United States Army Reserve for both Operation Desert Storm and for Operation Iraqi Freedom. I was assigned to the Iraqi Government liaison section of the Civil Military Operations Headquarters, having been assigned to lead that section before I left. My passion is in helping individuals and small businesses establish and protect their intellectual property rights.Specialties: I was a physics major (Stetson University, BS, 1972) and am an accomplished trial lawyer.
