Worked as a Barista at a licensed Starbucks on Clemson Universities campus while finishing my Master's degree.

Taught students at Clemson University in the Food and Medical Packaging Lab. Taught basics principles such as sensory analysis, moisture isotherms, as well as running a shelf life study project each semester.

Packaging Engineering Innovation Intern Completed Research into Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) of Frozen vegetables, working with differing polymers and gas concentrations/combinations.Worked in ASI for generation of accurate data sheets in SpecRight.

Worked on creating a series of packaging guides to insure product is correct to specs of customers, created a process control flow chart for all products made at the facility, and worked to remove nitrate from dry cured sausage blends leading to cost savings as well as a cleaner label. Was part of a large group project for updating corporate facility presentations.

While an intern from May 2017-August 2017 I was in charge of creating a to-scale floor plan of the ice cream production area and storage area. This information was then used to mark where to perform microbial growth checks in at risk areas where there could be possible cross contamination. Contacted multiple microbial labs for information and price quotes for services that we could use for coliform testing. Along with these duties I worked in the store and served customers Clemson's ice cream and is currently what I do during the school semesters.
