I am an executive manager with extensive experience helping organisations and industries to drive towards a common purpose. I have a deep understanding of how the geopolitical environment influences commercial outcomes, while maintaining a strong background in domestic and global public policy development, political advocacy, sustainability drivers and an applied knowledge of the economic drivers influencing markets. My experiences across a range of representative and services organisations have given me a broad network across industry and government and an understanding of how organisations can leverage these to support their agenda. I understand how to navigate through this complex network while managing a diversity of stakeholders to drive a unified approach.I have demonstrated an ability to lead successful teams and thrive on forming partnerships to drive outcomes and bring about change. I have had extensive experience engaging diverse stakeholders including farmers, processors, exporters, bureaucrats, and elected members of parliament at all levels to develop policy on a vast range of issues and advocate for those outcomes. Through my work history I have a track record of advocating successfully on difficult and complex issues including international trade, human health and nutrition, climate change, labour and workforce, water, competition policy and biosecurity. This knowledge of the public policy agenda and its drivers has been invaluable in ensuring that my internal organisational policies and practises also remain in line with community expectations around sustainability. My leadership qualities have been recognised through being selected for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) by the United States Department of State, and the European Union Visitors Program (EUVP) for young leaders.
