Operate a Peiner SK 405 tower crane - Hook height 270’, Jib length 161’ - to complete the Nexen Petroleum U.S. Headquarters, a 14 story, 330,00 sq.ft. office building developed by Metro National at 945 Bunker Hill in Houston, TX. Under a strict deadline schedule, in place by the developer, we reached our structural Top Out exactly 119 days after the first footing was poured. All but the slab on grade and first elevated slab was bucketed with the two tower cranes and 3-yard buckets.

Partnered with Jeremiah Hutson to Operate and Flag/Rig for a Liebherr Litronic 316 tower crane - Hook height 175', Jib length 212' (Phase-1) and a Liebherr Litronic 550 tower crane - Hook height 190', Jib length 235' (Phase-2) to complete a 2 1/2 year expansion project at Thermal Energy Corporation, Central Plant for the Texas Medical center in Houston, TX. Duties included structural steel erection, pour-in-place concrete, MEP placement and maintenance. New Experiences: Unlike the typical commercial project, this one entailed a much slower and more precise style of operating. Also much was learned about the extremely Safety oriented way of working in a “plant” environment. Daily work permits, pre-task analysis’s, pre-lift meetings, and critical lift plans were all common place here.
