At Pick Up Stix I supervise a small team of employess along with my general manager. My responsibilities include delivering our companies mission to fellow employees when general manager is absent from the store. This responsibility includes, dealing with customer service, everyday general task the team must follow.

Here at KGTV ABC local affilate in San Diego I have spent time learning the roles of the media aspect of broadcast news. Some roles i have takin on included assignment editor where i was able to work the assignment desk listening to police scanners, making beat check, getting story ideas out to producers and editing the material to news worthy content. I also researched the websites neccesary as well for my job on the desk. I was the one to gather all the facts for stories. I am now currently working with the web team as well. Here it is a lot more involved where I write for the web, post up content such as video, pictures and stories. This is a great process to work with becuase most media is know headed towards the website or (new media).
