Within the BDC, Saratoga manages both an SBIC-licensed subsidiary and a $400 million Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) fund. Saratoga’s investment strategy is squarely focused on “special situation” middle-market acquisitions involving complexity or inefficiencies – including restructurings – that present attractive value combined with active, “hands-on” post-investment involvement to achieve revenue and productivity enhancements.
