As an Academic Representative at Lancaster University, I serve as a liaison between students and faculty, advocating for improvements to enhance the academic experience. My role involves gathering and addressing student feedback, facilitating communication on academic concerns whilst working closely with university staff to implement positive changes. I am dedicated to ensuring that students’ voices are heard and that our learning environment remains supportive, engaging, and effective.

upReach is a charity working in close partnership with leading employers and universities, delivering a programme of 1-to-1 coaching to eligible undergraduates. They currently provide personalised support to 3,000 students from across the UK, helping them to discover different career options, and develop the vital skills, networks and experiences needed to succeed in their chosen career and beyond.

The Lancaster Success Programme LSP provides a welcoming and inclusive environment, where students like me are encouraged to develop their self-awareness and to explore and celebrate their individual versions of success through a programme of coaching-led opportunities.The LSP works with students from backgrounds which are underrepresented at university (known as widening participation) to help them get the most out of their university experience.The LSP offers me an coach to personally help me attain my own version of success and help to motivate and help me whenever necessary. Secondly the LSP offers workshops and events in helping students in many different aspects of success including motivation, skill building, CV and Cover Letter help and many more in order to help LSP students improve and adapt to the working world.

I completed a 3 week intense summer analyst programme to develop my financial skills and gain a greater insight into the financial worldWeek 1: The Buy-Side 📈- Immersed in the role of a Hedge Fund and Asset Manager while seamlessly transitioning into hands-on simulation under global-market news.- In depth-exploration of trading process and technical analytic tools, honing my skills in interpreting price actions , trends as well as how macroeconomic news affect the global marketWeek 2: The Sell-Side 📊- Explored strategies such as IDB, cross-trades to trade out of position when axed.- Gained valuable insight of how a Sales Trader and Marker Maker navigate large trade volumes in quote-driven and order-driven markets. - Ended the week with a Blockchain simulation where we managed electricity costs while mining virtual cryptocurrency. Week 3: Banking🗓️- Worked through an intensive 24 hour M&A challenge advising through a self-made pitch deck-Strengthened Excel skills by conducting valuation models such as Merger Models , DCF and 3-Financial Statements.
