I am a student at the Kelley School of Business who enjoys spending time with my family, playing and recording music, and connecting with those who apart of my local community.After years of community service and exemplary performance in the classroom, I was nominated for and won the Levinson Philanthropy award at my high school. I now research a variety of local nonprofit organizations in my community to make a donation through the grant I received. I have visited, researched, and collaborated with many like-minded individuals in my hometown and am striving to make a difference for the marginalized and the disadvantaged in my community.Throughout my time at Noblesville High School, I spent over 100 hours volunteering for the Audio Department where I learned the ins and outs of live sound and recording environments. In one such project, I spearheaded a team of volunteers who set up and controlled the audio for a production of Beauty and the Beast. At the conclusion of the production, I not only learned extensively about sound and its applications but how to interact with others in a professional environment. I plan to employ the knowledge I gained in my future career.I spent the better part of my senior year of high school into the summer before college as a Suggestive Sales Representative for Bub's Burgers and Ice Cream in Carmel, Indiana. Along with working for financial gain and independence, I grew strong interpersonal skills and even became a favorite server to a handful of patrons. I frequently connected with them about my love of music or the beautiful Indiana weather. I plan to work at Bub's every summer during college to grow as a salesperson and a friend to those who dine with us.With the knowledge I gain through my education and out-of-class experiences, I aim to make a positive difference in the entertainment industry.
