After receiving a B.A. in Philosophy from DePaul University in Chicago, I returned to Texas and shifted from teaching to working in retail. I started working for Central Market in 2017 and went from a sales associate, to a Lead, to Assistant Department Manager. I assist in running the seafood department in many ways; from writing orders for a highly perishable department, scheduling, planning and coordinating events. My experiences competing in and coaching speech and debate have helped with the interpersonal and communicative aspects of leading a team.
